MAY’S ROAD BUS ROUTE

Sir,—l notice that there is talk of discontinuing the May’s road bus route. I am sure that this will be a trial to the numerous elderly people of this district. I trust that tne authorities will reconsider their intentions in this matter. Personally, I am close on 80 years of age, and if the board remains adamant in the matter. I will have no option but to sit by my wireless set. If there is anyone who can lend me a rocking-chair for a couple of years I would be grateful—or even a wheel-chair.—Yours, etc.. WEARY WILLIE. September 1. 1948.
