TOM BLOWER SWIMS CHANNEL
TEMME’S RECORD BROKEN LONDON, August 30. “Tom Blower, the English swimmer, who planned to swim the Channel both ways, abandoned his return swim on medical advice after coming ashore at Cape Grisnez,” says Reuter’s correspondent in Boulogne. “Blower looked in good shape, but a doctor said that his heart was low.
“Blower swam the Channel in 15hrs 31min, breaking Temme’s record from England to France by 23min.”
