YOUTHS ESCAPE FROM BORSTAL
< Two youths who escaped from the Invercargill Borstal Institution on Sunday had not been recaptured by the police last evening. They are believed to be heading north. They are David Mervyn Coats, aged 20, and Frederick John Gruschow, aged 18. When they escaped they were both wearing blue denim trousers and coats, and were hatless. Gruschow is sft lOin in height, with a fresh complexion, light brown hair, blue eyes, and a scar on the right forefinger and wrist. Coats is sft 6iin tall, with a fresh complexion, fair hair, and hazel eyes. He has no teeth
