Summit Road Plantation.— To assist the Summit Road Scenic Society in its object of obtaining land for the future planting of trees along the Summit road, the City Council last evening adopted a Recommendation from the reserves committee to have an area of about three acres and a half, on the north side of Evan’s Pass, originally set aside for a power magazine, vested in the council or offered at a peppercorn rental over a long period.
