Gold Nugget Worth £24O.— A holi-day-maker on alluvial, diggings in the Transvaal picked up a gold nugget six inches long and three inches in diameter, weighing 36|oz and valued at £240. A mining commissioner said the nugget was the purest he had ever seen.—Cape Town, August 23.
