Canterbury was first in the miniature rifle shooting. Victoria was second in the shooting and third in th£ men’s fencing. Otago was third in the shooting, and first in the men’s fencing. Auckland beat Canterbury, 11-5; Otago beat Victoria, 0-7. Shooting The Canterbury team won the shooting with a score of 774 out of a possible 800. The runner-up was Victoria, with* 769. The highest scorer was Naylor, of Canterbury; with a score of 195 out of a possible 200 Eight competitors out of the 20 competing gained 193 points or *more. Table Tennis Women’s teams knock-out championship.—Canterbury beat Massey, 10-2; Victoria beat Lincoln, 7-5; Auckland and Otago a bye. x In the men’s doubles, the quarter-final-ists are Phillipps and Hollands of Victoria, Algie and Pierce, of Canterbury, Phillipps and Cooney, of Otago, and Johns and Braithwaite, of Auckland. The women's championship doubles quarter finalists are Spencer and Meyrick, of Massey, Davis and Wauchop, of Otago, Packwood and McCulloch, of Canterbury, and Hay and O’Malley, of Lincoln.
