Notifiable Diseases.—A fatal case of cerebro-spinal meningitis was reported to the Department of Health from the Canterbury district last week. Other notifiable diseases reported were: scarlet fever, one case: diphtheria, one; tuberculosis, eight; erysipelas, one. Two cases of scarlet fever were reported from the West Coast
