A. DIVERS WINS JUMP (P.A.) INVERCARGILL. August 21. The final event of the New Zealand ski championships was decided at Coronet Peak yesterday. The jumping resulted in a win for A. Divers (Otago Club) with Lin Challis (Southland) runner-up, and A. Williams (Stratford Club) third. Distances were: Divers, 61.7 ft: Challis, 60.6 ft; Williams, 56.8 ft. WIGLEY CUP CONTEST (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 22. The Wigley Cup competition was held at Coronet Peak to-day. Results were: Christchurch Ski Club 1, Aorangi 2, Wakatipu 3. The competition comprised downhill and slalom, with two men and two women in each team.
