CANTERBURY B WINS N.Z. TOURNAMENT
CANTERBURY C TAKES MINOR TROPHY (P.A.) DUNEDIN, August 5. Scoring a clear-cut win over Canterbury A by 5 goals to 0, Canterbury B to-day won the Otago centennial hockey tournament. The other trophy, originally intended for the minor associations’ section, was awarded 'to Canterbury C, which scored most points in the B section.
The final started off at a fast clip with both sides endeavouring to open up play. In spite of accurate passing between the halves and forwards, neither side could score because of solid play by the backs and deadly trapping of the ball in midfield.

Adcock opened the scoring for Canterbury B. Not long afterwards Canterbury B was awarded a genalty bully, but O. Whitford, Canterury left back, cleared. At the beginning of the second spell, Canterbury B attacked strongly, and within a short time scored two more goals. Adcock scored two goals and N. Herron, who was injured a few minutes before time, scored three. UMPIRES FOR TEST (P.A.) DUNEDIN, August 5. Messrs H. Teague, of Christchurch, and W. A.
