COLLECTION OF FOOD COUPONS
A slight decrease was shown in the numbers of food coupons collected last week, said the secretary of the Aid for Britain Committee. Christchurch (Mr Tom W. Smith) yesterday A ‘ ota ! 460 butter coupons and 10.962 j coupons was collected. Waikari headed the list, closely followed by Lincoln, in the Post Office returns. Burwood School was tbp for the week in the schools collection, with 2250 meat couP °The returns for the week were:Addington. 154 meat and two butter. Culverden. 52 meat and eight butter. Dunsandel. 36 meat: Hawarden. 109 meat- Cust, 19 butter: Kaiapoi. six meat- Kaikoura 180 meat and 10 butter- Lincoln, 560 meat: Rangiora. 52 meat; Waiau, 278 meat and 20 butter; Waikari, 704 meat and 60 butter.
