THEFT FROM COUNCIL ALLEGED
CLERK COMMITTED FOR TRIAL (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH. July 23. Ralph Eric Pickering, aged 21, formerly a clerk employed by the New Plymouth Borough Council, to-day pleaded not guilty to charges alleging theft from the council of money totalling £1479, falsifying books, and securing £lOO, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained. He was committed for trial.
