ALLOTMENTS FOR THREE MONTHS BRITAIN HEADS LIST (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 19. The Economic Co-operation Administrator (Mr Paul Hoffman) to-day announced tentative foreign aid allotments of 1,118.800,000 dollars for July, August, and September. Britain leads the Marshall Plan countries with an allotment of 335,000,000 dollars for the period. France receives the second largest allotment, with 251,000,000 dollars, and Italy is third, with 148,000.000 dollars. The allotments are divided into loans and outright cash grants. The sum of 289,300,000 dollars is set aside for loans, of which 100.000,000 dollars .is earmarked for Britain.
