COLLIER DELAYED AT AUCKLAND

EXTRA WORK REFUSED (P.A.i AUCKLAND, July 17. A shipment of important West Coast [ coal allocations for Auckland will be delayed by the refusal of the Auckland Watersiders’ Union to allow extra work this afternoon to enable the collier Omana to sail to-day. The vessel will be delayed at Auckland two days to complete unloading of coal on Monday. She will then sail for the West Coast for another cargo of coal. One hour’s extra work would have released the Omana to-day.
