PREMISES BROKEN INTO

Yesterday morning it was discovered that the premises of W. Whittaker, Ltd., general carriers, 280 Tuam street, had been broken into during the night and goods, valued at 30s, had been stolen. The thieves got in by smashing a glass panel in a door and turning the lock. The office was ransacked and damage caused to the extent of £5.

An attempt was also made to break into the premises of Claude Neon Lights of New Zealand, Ltd., at 316 Tuam street. A glass panel in a door was broken, but a sheet of iron behind the glass prevented the thief from getting inside.
