OBITUARY
MR JOHN M. HISLOP The death has occurred of Mr John M. Hislop, session cleric at St. George’s Presbyterian Church Linwood, for the last 25 years. Mr Hislop spent his youth in Edinburgh, and came to New’Zealand from Queensland. He was employed for many years by Messrs A. J. White, Ltd. Appreciation of Mr Hislop’s services to the church were paid at the funeral service by a former minister, the Rev. J. H. Crawford, the Moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery (the Rev. J. S. Strang), and the Rev. Hugh Graham.
