Freight Service Opposed.— An application by the National Airways Corporation for a road freight service be tween Wellington and Paraparaumu was opcosed by the Railways Department before the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr J. P. O. Skoglund) yesterday. Objection was also expressed by the New Zealand Carriers’ Federation. Decision was reserved.— (P.A.)
