Totalisator Record With 10 days’ racing required to complete the total of 240 days for the 1947-48 season, which will be concluded on July 31, totalisator investments in New Zealand have reached the record amount of £15,167,724 10s. Racing clubs in the Auckland district handled £6,026,407 10s for 52 days’ racing. For 27 days in the Wellington district the total is £2,853,835, while for 27 days in the Canterbury district investments totalled £1,569,748. Trotting meetings were held during the season on 80 days, for which totalisator investments were, £6,552,677.
