PRISONER MARRIED AT AUCKLAND

RETURN TO GAOL AFTER CIVIL CEREMONY (P.A.) . AUCKLAND, July 14. At a quiet wedding at the Registrar’s Office in Auckland to-day, the bridegroom was a prisoner awaiting trial on a criminal charge, to which he has pleaded not guilty. The best man was a prison warder, considerately wearing civilian clothes. Apart from the Registrar, the only others present were the bride and a bridesmaid. After a farewell on the footpath, the bridegroom left in a taxi with the best man.
