THEFT OF MONEY FROM LETTERS
POSTAL WORKER PLEADS GUILTY (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, July 2. Appearing in the Magistrate’s Court on four charges of theft of money from letters, Frederick Daubney, aged 63, married, a postal sorter, pleaded guilty. He was remanded by Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M., until July 9 for sentence. It was stated that some stolen banknotes of which the numbers were known were found in the possession of accused.
