35,000 WORKERS IDLE IN LUDWIGSHAFEN
PROTEST AGAINST FOOD RATIONS (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, June 7. More than 35,000 municipal workers in Ludwigshafen have struck as a protest against the .food rations, which thev say are inadequate. The strike has affected tramways, factories, and offices, and has halted work in many establishments.
