FATAL SHOTGUN WOUND
<%*•> OPOTIKI, June 8. Wi Tangira, a married man with two children, employed as a roadman near Tekaha. received a fatal wound on Saturday afternoon when pig hunting. His gun accidentally discharged, practically blowing an arm off.
MAN KNOCKED FROM BICYCLE Black ’ a middle-aied man, ,? 06 road, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 12.15 p.m. yesterday with head injuries. suffered when he was knocked from his bicycle by a car at the corner of Barbadoes and Gloucester streets. His condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
