Rioting in French Morocco.—Five persons were killed and 30 were injured in - Oudja, French Morocco, in rioting which began after a Jew and an Arab had quarrelled over the Palestine war. Troops restored order after two hours.—Algiers, June 7. Sir A. Sidgreaves Dead. —Sir Arthur Sidgreaves, a well-known figure in the British car industry, wal killed by a train at a London tube station. He was president of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors from 1941 to 1943 and was knighted in 1945.—He was 66 years of age.—London, June 7.
