Benno Moiseiwitsch, the world famous pianist, who will give concerts in the Theatre Royal next Saturday and on Tuesday, May 11. Mr Moiseiwitsch, who is a naturalised British subject, was awarded the C.B.E. in 1946 in recognition of his services in Britain during the war, when he gave nearly 1000 performances on behalf of the war funds.
