COLLEGE COUNCIL ELECTIONS
Elections for several seats on the Canterbury University College Council will be held in June. Members who retire by rotation on June 30, and the parties by whom they are appointed, are:—Dr. Helen Simpson, tne Governor-General; Mr J. Mathison, Canterbury members of the Legislature; Mrs S. G. Young and Mr D. J. M. Glover, the Canterbury District Court of Convocation (graduates); Mr W. J» Cartwright, school teachers of the dis; trict; Mr W. T. Langley, district school committees. The* electoral roll will close on May <lO, nominations will close on May 17. and voting will close at 5 p.m. on « June 7. On the suggestion of Mr D. W. Bain, biographies of candidates will accomSany voting papers, and the roll will e reviewed for correction.
