NATIONAL YEARLING SALES

LOT s.—Blue roan colt by Sandy dale— Little Claire. Brother to Expensive, the winner of five races last season. This colt should have a great stud value at the ehd of his racing career. By the imported Sandydale, whose grand-sire, The Abbe, 2min 4sec, is now credited with five generations of two-minute performers, an accomplishment unequalled by any other stallion. Abbedale, the sire of Sandydale, is the sire of Her Ladyship, Imm MJsco, the dam of Goose Bay, 2min 0 2-saec, the 1347 three-year-old champion in America.

LOT 7.—Brown filly by Sandydale— Myra Parrish. A sister to a ‘winner in Highland Dale, 3min 15sec, the winner of four races last season. This filly has generations of proved blood lines on her dam’s side, and she also represents families with high averages in the production of good winners. A real aristocrat, the filly was described by the judge at the tecent Oatnaru Show as "the finest piece of horseflesh which he had had the pleasure of seeing." Both lots should attract attention from the most critical students of breeding. Bred to win by John Johnston, Pukeuri. Advt.
