J RUNBPIN, March 2j. »Qp Saturday the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Freyberg) and Lady Freyperg received the president apd members of the Caledonian Society of Otago, in the afternoon Sir Bernard Freyberg unveiled a tablet commemorating the earlier pioneers of the Presbyterian Church of Otago and Southland at Knox College. Later the Rey. Dr. w. A. Stevely, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Otago and Southland, accompanied by* the Rev. A. M. Elliffe, Clerk of the Synod, presented to Sir Bernard Freyberg a loyal address to His Majestv the King, At the same time Sir Bernard Freyberg received the Very Rev. Dr. John Baillie, representing the Church of Scotland, the Very Purves Boyes, representing the Presbyterian Chwch of England, and the Right Rev. A. Campbell Grieve, Moderator of the Presbyterian Chureh of Australia. This morning Sir Bernard Freyberg and Lady Freyberg attended divine service at First Church. This afternoon their Excellencies attended the Presbyterian centennial service of thanksgiving in the Town If all.
