CHURCHES OF CHRIST
EASTER CONFERENCE IN CHRISTCHURCH
Individual Churches of Christ throughout New Zealand are now working out ways of taking their part in the ‘‘Crusade for a Christian World, decided on at the world convention of the Churches of Christ, in the United States. A Dominion programme for the crusade will go before the annual conference of Churches of . Christ in New Zealand, to be ft eld in Christchurch from March 25 to March 29. The crusade will be aimed mainly at strengthening the spiritual life and ®embership of the churches. No time limit is set for the campaign, but the theme will be emphasised until the te *t world convention meets in 1950. Mr F. L. Purnell, the New Zealand born evangelist who has been visiting New Zealand from the United States ®uice last April, will remain in the Dominion for a further 12 months and mke part in the campaign.
