TARANAKI CLUB “The Press" Special Service NEW PLYMOUTH, March 19. The Taranaki Trotting Club’s annual meeting will be held to-morrow. Large fields are carded and divisions have been provided in the Fitzroy Handicap and the Moturoa Handicap. After heavy showers this morning the weather has cleared and the track has not been affected. Horses likely to be well supported are:—

11.2 a.m.—Wai tar a Handicap: Single Task, Noble Triumph, Manna’s Last. 11.47 a.m.~Fitzroy Handicap: First division: Josedale Pointer, Fontaine, Wild Life Second division: Gay Jay, Lylette, Josedale Direct.

12-32 p.m.—Urenui Handicap: General Manager, Doris Kay, Sandy Park. 1.17 p.m.—Taranaki Trotting Club Handicap: Alec Potts, Marcia, Belle Potts. 2.2 p.m.—lnglewood Handicap: Game-keeper-Reclamation bracket. Single Task, Eyre’s Last. 2.47 pan.—Moturoa Handicap: First division: Kiwi Lad, Golden Ace, Parkhill. Second division: Petite Direct, High Flight, Mustang. 3.32 p.m.—Omata Handicap: Doris Kay, Indianote, Bexdale.

Fields of excellent strength are carded to race at the Wyndham Trotting Club’s Silver Jubilee meeting to-morrow. Prospects are for fine weather and a fast track and racing of a high standard is promised. Some interest is being shown in the appearance of the Derby winner, Congo Son, which is a pronounced early favourite for the' Wyndham Juvenile Stakes in which he will be meeting 10 Southland three-year-olds, nine of which were sired by Dillon Hall.
