WOMAN’S DEATH

Muriel Eva Grace Hobbs, a widow, aged 64, was found dead by her employer, Mr L. J. Taylor, at his residence at 79 Browns road, St. Albans, when he returned to the house at 5.30 pjn. yesterday. The gas stove was turned on. A doctor was called and applied artificial respiration, without success. Mrs Hobbs had been Mr Taylor’s housekeeper for about four years. An inquest will be opened by the Coroner, Mr Raymond Ferner, this morning.
