DISTURBANCE ATT MEETING
SYDNEY. March 15. After two men who said they were Communists had been arrested at a meeting at Manly on Saturday a group of sympathisers tried to enter the police station where the men were being charged. After being ordered from the charge room, the men gathered on the footpath outside the station.
The two men were arrested at a political meeting and were charged with obstructing pedestrian traffic and behaving in an offensive manner. They were warned that they could not speak without a licence, but they persisted. A crowd of 700 was attracted by the disturbance.
