RIOTS IN GOLD COAST

(Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, March 3. The death roll is now 25 in Accra, Gold Coast, where fresh cost-of-living riots are reported. A total of 140 persons were injured yesterday and todafn London an Admiralty spokesman said that the -.loops Actaeon and Nereide, which sailed from Simonstown to-day, were going to the Gold Coast. The War Office has announced that four troop-carrying aeroplanes have arrived at Gibraltar to transport the 2nd Battalion of the Cameronian Regiment to West Africa if they are needed.

Radio-Isotopes for Czechs. — Reuter’s correspondent in Prague says it is announced that Britain has agreed to supply Czechoslovakia unconditionally with a "certain amount" of radio-isotopes—radio-active forms of atomic elements useful in medical research. The United States has refused to deliver isotopes unless American doctors are allowed to control their use.—London, March 3.
