Pleading guilty before Messrs W. C. Cleary and W. D. Gower, Justices of the Peace, in the Magistrate's Court at Lyttelton yesterday, to being absent from his ship without leave. Henry Willard, a member of the crew of the steamship Fort Cadotte, was sentenced to 14 days’ im- ( prisonment.
