CHRISTCHURCH FILM SOCIETY

The first annual meeting of the Christchurch Film Society was held in the Chamber of Commerce hall. Miss Ngaio Marsh presided over an attendance of 27. The meeting decided that the society should incorporate, and articles of incorporation were approved. A discussion group was formed, and Mr B. J. Kearns was elected convener. Mrs V. Spencer, and Messrs J. M. Caffin. A. J. Gainsford. B. J. Kearns, J. A. Manton. B. A. Newman; secretary-treasurer. Mr A. C Felton: auditor, Mr J. K. Burll.
