ACCIDENTS

FATAL FALL FROM HORSE (P.A.) GISBORNE. February 24. Hari Taeho, a Maori, aged 64, died as the result of an accident at Mohaka yesterday. He Was seen to get on a horse which became unruly. He disappeared round a. corner, and later he was found lying on the road with severe head injuries which are believed to have caused his death.

FALL FROM LADDER When he fell off a ladder yesterday afternoon while working for the Public Works Department at Sockburn, Denis William Frizzell, of 484 Barrington street suffered head injuries necessitating his admittance to the Christchurch Public Hospital. His condition was reported to be fairly satisfactory last evening.
