SHIRLEY CLUB An all’-day open tournament, held at the Shirley green yesterday, resulted in a win for a Shirley four—W. Shearman, J. Ashcroft, A. Palmer, and W. Ramsay (s). The runners-up were a Hornby four—A. Playle, C. Gaffney, W. Kempthorne, and J. Allen (s). ELMWOOD CLUB The pairs championship of the Elmwood Bowling Club resulted in a win for D. Round and E. vW. Bartlett, who beat D. S. Dott and R. Featherston, 21-11. CENTRE CHAMPION PAIRS The champion of champions pairs of the Christchurch Bowling Centre will begin on Saturday, when three rounds will be played, starting at 9 a.m., 12.45 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. The following is the draw:— Opawa Green.—Sydenham (T.
