' TRANSFER TO WEST FORBIDDEN

BREACHES PUNISHABLE BY DEATH BERLIN, December 25. The Minister of Economic Affairs in Saxony has announced heavy penalties, including death, for German manufacturers who commit the “economic crime” of wanting to transfer their businesses from the Russian zone to the British-American zones.

The Minister said 'that Saxony would not countenance such moves to the west, because “Saxony wants to retain all its productive capacity.”
