AUCKLAND, December 13. The shortage of space in the union headquarters in the Port Buildings in Quay street, Auckland, has resulted, ip. Auckland branch of the Waterside workers Union making arrangement* io hold its monthly stopwork meeting* next year in the Town Hall. The assembly hall at the Port buildings can accommodate only 10w of the union’s 2000 members, and space D n. this floor has been further restricted by the recent construction or a cafeteria. The Town Hall has a capacity for 2819.
