AUSTRALIANS BEAT NORTH ISLAND (P A.) ROTORUA, November 19. The Australian golf team at the Rotorua course beat the North Island representative team, winning three singles out of the five played and winning one of the two foursomes. Results, Australians mentioned first, were:— Foursomes.—W. Edgar and W. A. Brown beat A. R. Kitto and D. H. Graham, 4 and 2; A. H. Colledge and K. D. Pix lost to G. P. Roberts and J. P. Hornabrook, J up. Singles.—Edgar beat Hornabrook, 2 and 1; Colledge lost to Graham, 2 and 1; Brown beat Kitto, 3 and 2; Pix beat J. C. Pelham, 3 and 2; L. Winser lost to Roberts, 4 and 2.
