REDUCTIONS IN U.S. DUTIES
“LOWEST POINT IN 34 YEARS ” (Rec. 12.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 17. The "New York Times” says that the import duty reductions agreed to by the United States under the Geneva agreement are estimated to bring the general level of the nation’s tariff schedule to the lowest point in 34 years.
