EXPORT OF COAL TO EUROPE
MARSHALL PLAN AND BRITISH OUTPUT (Itec 7 p.m.) LONDON, November 11. Britain will be able to export to Europe in 1948 at least the 6,000,000 tons of coal which the Marshall plan specifies if the miners maintain last week’s record output. The miners have increased production under the voluntary overtime scheme, which in some cases involves Saturday working and in others longer week days.
