TUESDAY (Before Mr F. F. Reid, S.M.) CHARGE OF MURDER Charged with the murder of Graham Frederick Price, at Temuka, on September 11, Edna Mary Price, aged 40, who did not appear, was remanded until November 21. Detective-Sergeant A. A. Herron, in asking for the remand, said the accused was at present under medical observation. REMANDED When he was remanded for a week on a charge of stealing a purse ‘ valued at 2s 6d and £8 7s in money, the property of Dorothy Cecelia Penhalluriach. Desmond Patrick Egan, aged 23, dyer and porter, said: “Why the remand, your Honour? They have the money and know all about the case.” The Magistrate: You are remanded until October 28.
