FINN WISHES TO STAY IN N.Z.
COURT MAKES ORDER FOR DEPORTATION
(PA.) AUCKLAND, October 8. A native of Finland who left a ship of which he was a member of the crew at Wellington, said in the Magistrate’s Court to-day that he would like to stay in New Zealand He did not know what would hapuen to him in Finland.
. 'You see the Russians are in possession of that part of the country I come from.” he -aid. He was Oskare Torn!, aged 34, who was charged with unlawfully landing in New Zealand Mr J. H. Luxford made an order for his deportation. Tomi is to remain in Prison until a ship is available.
