UNSATISFIED DEMAND FOR SOME LINES From Our Own Reporter HANMER SPRINGS, October 8. “Although the supply of many essential men's clothes has improved the industry still faces an unsatisfied demand for sports trousers and boys’ school clothing,” said Mr C. B. Myhre to-day when garment manufacturers continued their conference. “The supply of worsted is particularly short, although there has been some improvement in the supply of woollen materials.” ;
Mr Myhre said that the general shortage of trained workers und restrictive price ceilings were delaying full production.
