AIR RACE
Sir, —The suggestion put forward by your correspondent “Dollars Not Humbug” that a general meeting of all members of the Aero Club should be called to discuss this so-called air race is one that I whole-heartedly support. I venture to think that if the views of club members were thus obtained the Chamber of Commerce committee and other sponsoring or supporting citizens would see how they have been “led down the garden path.” —Yours, etc., AERO CLUB MEMBER. October 6, 1947.
