FIRST PORT OF CALL, LONDON—The New Zealand four-masted steel barque Pamir (2799 tons) leaving Wellington on Friday at the start of her long voyage to London, via Cape Horn. She is fully loaded with 4500 tons of tallow, wool, and hides for Great Britain. This is the first time for 25 years that a sailing ship has left New Zealand for a voyage to England round the Horn.
