TWO NOMINATIONS FOR VACANCY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 3. Two nominations have been received for election as the Southern Ward member of the New Zealand Dairy Board. They are Leighton Hitchcock, of Takaka, farmer, and James McKenzie. of Seaward Downs. Southland, farmer. Polling, which is by postal ballot, closes on October i 3. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Mr W. G. Macartney in view of his I appointment as a member of the Dairy i Products Marketing Commission. |
