Dr. Menehik has a good opinion of the quality of toe .greater proportion of boots and shoes at present made m New Zealand. He had found that New Zealanders had their own ideas of boot and shoe fashions—ideas which were hard to meet with products imported from factories in other countries. he said. They were best met by producing special types in the country.
