FIRE DAMAGE TO KAIAPOI HOSPITAL
The fire which broke out m the Kaiapoi Hospital last Thursday caused damage estimated at £3OO, according to a report to the North Canterbury Hospital Board by the board’s superintendent of works. The ’fire, he added, apparently started from an over-heated stove in the drying-room, and spread to the walls and ceiling.
