AID FOR BRITAIN
Sir,—We hear and read a great deal about the primary producers’ duty to help Britain. We heartily agree, but there are a number of ways others can help: by giving up some of their pleasures and pastimes and helping those who are working 70 hours a week on the farms. Numbers of girls and men in offices, shops and factories in Britain are giving up their week-ends to help those who are endeavouring to produce more food. It is everybody’s responsibility and not only the already overworked primary producers.— Yours, etc., ALL FOR BRITAIN. September 29, 1947. „
