WOOL DISPOSALS LIMITED.

PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. United Kingdom Wool Disposals, Ltd., announced to-day that its provisional programme for the first half of the season to Christmas, 1947, provides for a total offering from Joint Organisation stocks of 600,000 bales. Of this quantity 65,000 bales were sold in the London July auctions, and of the remaining 534,000 bales, 255,000 will be offered in the United Kingdom, including 45,200 bales from New Zealand. Most of the wool sold in the United Kingdom will be of free to light burry types. In New Zealand 50,000 bales will be offered, including greasy crossbred, 45,000 bales, scoured, 1000 bales, and slipe, 4000 bales. Offerings in Australia will be 180,000 bales, and in South Africa 50,000 bales.
